Overview
The purpose of the program is to assist eligible SNAP participants in gaining skills, training, work or experience that will increase their ability to obtain regular employment.Skill Up Tennessee is UT Extension’s SNAP Employment & Training program. The purpose is to assist SNAP participants in gaining skills, training, work or experience increasing their ability to obtain employment. TN Department of Labor & Workforce Development, in partnership with TN Department of Human Services, administers the program.
