EduBOSS

Overview

The Big Orange STEM Saturday for Educators (EduBOSS) is a partnership between the University Libraries and the Center for Enhancing Education in Math and Science (CEEMS) to provide STEM education professional development for Tennessee teachers and educators. EduBOSS is a free, one-day conference for K-12 educators that provides a holistic selection of STEM topics. The program is designed with a three-pronged approach. (1) Participants focus on topic-based, hands-on workshops facilitated by a STEM expert to engage in STEM education best practice. (2) Participants visit an exhibitor fair with campus and community STEM organizations as an opportunity for teachers to exchange information, make connections with local resources, and develop a resource list for classroom support. (3) The program concludes with an accomplished keynote speaker and STEM educator.
